Review: May Love Me Beauty Box

Love Me Beauty is a fab beauty box as you get a choice of 3 menus which means you have some control over the products you receive. May's box was a little different to usual as it consisted of both beauty products and little extras such as tea samples and notebooks.

Nail Girls Nail Polish - Nude Pink

Full size: £13.50

"An elegant nude with a hint of soft, sheer baby pink. A shade of style, sophistication and class."

This is a pretty colour with a nice glossy shine and I do like it, but I'm not sure if it is spectacular enough to justify a RRP of £13.50. However, it is free from a few chemicals that some people like to avoid, such as formaldehyde, so it may be a good option for some, such as pregnant women.

Suti - Cleanse Balm, Purity Balm and Fabulous Foot Balm

Trial samples: £6.50

"The ‘Cleanse Balm’ draws out impurities and cleanses the skin of dirt, pollutants and make-up. The ‘Purity Balm’ soothes and cocoons the skin with its incredibly pure and potent botanicals and contains a natural healing and skin strengthening formulation. The ‘Fabulous Foot Balm’ is a rich and nourishing foot balm to help rehydrate and revive chapped, tired and aching feet."

I'm most excited about the foot balm. I use my treadmill everyday, which means my poor feet take quite a beating, so hopefully this will soothe them.

Raw Skincare Natural Lip Balm - Hint of Mint

Full size: £1.98

"A cooling lip balm that protects and calms sore dry lips instantly. This everyday balm will provide nourishment due to the organic coconut oil and cocoa butter, whilst providing a protective later for lasting protection."

The mint leaves my lips feeling tingly and fresh while the beeswax, cocoa butter and coconut oil hydrate and soften.

Go Stationary Pocket Notebooks - Vintage Ditsy

Pack of three: £5

"This handy set of three soft covered notebooks are the perfect size to pop in your handbag for on the go scribbles. The ‘Vintage Ditsy’ collection is perfect for Spring with its dainty flower and polka dot designs."

These are adorable; such a pretty girly design and the perfect size to pop in a handbag to help keep me organised.

Teapigs - Chocolate Flake Tea

3 tea temples. Worth: £1.90

"‘Chocolate Flake Tea’ is a sophisticated tea and chocolate combo. It is the perfect partnership of strong tea with a hint of dark, rich chocolate. It is often described as a choccie biscuit dunked in tea!"

Tea is wonderful. Chocolate is delicious. So, as you can imagine, anything that combines the two is great! Teapigs are big believers in real tea, so they have created biodegradable mesh tea temples which fold the delicate tea leaves whilst giving them room to unfurl and infuse properly. This tea has a mouthwatering scent of rich chocolate and tasted great either on its own or with the addition of frothy milk to give more of a hot chocolate type drink. I have fallen in love with Teapigs and ordered a few more exciting sounding teas to try, so I am grateful to have received this sample and learnt about a lovely brand.

Overall, this box was worth about £29. I liked everything I received and was happy to receive a few lifestyle items too.

What do you think of Love Me Beauty and their May box? Do you like to receive non-beauty items too?
